About Us

Our Philosophy
At Samuka, our hearts beat for the beauty of handmade creations — the kind that carry the soul of the artist and the warmth of the hands that bring them to life. Every piece we make is a reflection of this deep love for craftsmanship and the incredible artisans we have the privilege of working with.
For us, it’s never been about trends or mass production. We believe in a quieter kind of luxury — thoughtful, sustainable, and rich in culture and tradition. We’re here for the modern woman who values authenticity, artistry, and the power of conscious choices.
This journey is our tribute to the women who inspire us, the heritage that grounds us, and the Earth that nurtures us. As we grow, we promise to stay rooted in these values — creating with care, empowering with intention, and always celebrating the art of the handmade.

Our Story
Our journey began with a deep love — a love for Indian crafts and for the legacy passed down through generations. But as we immersed ourselves in this world, we were struck by a quiet heartbreak: so much of this incredible talent and tradition was going unseen, underappreciated, and left behind.
In a land that once celebrated the art of handmade, true luxury was slowly being replaced by the loud dazzle of mass-market fashion. The soul of craftsmanship was fading into the background.
And that’s why Samuka was born — from a longing to bring that soul back to the spotlight. Our vision is simple: to take rooted Indian elements and reimagine them for the modern wardrobe. To blend heritage with a contemporary voice. And above all, to make Indian crafts feel relevant, fresh, and yes — cool again.
This is our love letter to tradition, written in the language of today.

Sahana - Founder & Designer
Somewhere between deadlines and digital screens, she realized her heart was elsewhere — not in code or tech, but in color, craft, and creativity. Indian crafts, especially, spoke to her in a way nothing else did. So, she did the brave thing — she traded her 9-to-5 for a dream that had been quietly growing in her heart.
She went on to study design at Pearl Academy, immersing herself in the world that truly lit her up. After learning, creating, and growing, the idea of Samuka was born — a name shaped by passion, purpose, and a simple thought: if not now, then when?
In every piece , you’ll find a touch of art and a whisper of culture— all woven together to tell stories that are deeply personal, yet beautifully universal.
So here’s to following dreams, finding beauty in the handmade, and welcoming you into the world of Samuka — where every design has a soul.
